At Legacy Stables, we offer training and/or instruction in Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat, Western Seat, Jumping, Equitation and Driving. Whether you’re looking for a full-time training situation for your horse, or you’d like to explore the world of equestrian sports through a lesson program, Legacy can fill your needs.

Full Board

Full board starts at $850/month.

Includes: Hay 4x a day, grain in the morning and evening, daily stall cleaning, at least 4 hours of turnout daily (weather permitting) and the management of health maintenance by scheduling vet, blacksmith, dentist, etc.

Other services, such as grooming, equine massage, chiropractor and training board options, are available for an additional cost.

Full Training

Full training starts at $1200/month.

Workouts are based on individual horses needs, and abilities. Training methods are varied throughout the week to keep horses fresh and of sound mind. Horses are typically worked six days a week with at least one or two days off a week. The amount of time a horse is worked is determined by age, health, growth in training, and other special needs. The routine for your horse can be discussed in more detail with Kat and Emily during a scheduled meeting.

Horse Training Rides
Our trainers are capable of starting green horses, re-training problem horses, and fine-tuning the competition horse. We use the combined methods of basic dressage as a foundation, gymnastics, and other jumping and flat exercises to develop quality show hunters, jumpers, western pleasure, saddleseat, driving and pleasure riding horses.

Training rides are $65 per ride.
